Pretty happy with how this turned out. Gotta adjust the kerning in the type, but I think I am good with everything else. Whoo! What a wild ride this one was!

Process work for my next animal spread! This time it is, "Some go 'woof', some go 'squeak'!" Below are my thumbnails.

Updated version of sloth and snake page. I will work with the background and add in text next! 

After researching about sloths and snakes and brainstorming other ideas, I started making a bunch of thumbnails. This time, I decided to stretch the composition while sticking with the general idea. I had to take a break or two in between because my brain needed room to think of new, interesting things! It was certainly a new and exciting exercise!

After selecting a few of my favorite thumbnails, I ended up sketching them to size. After doing so, I was able to choose the most successful, and I worked on it further.

References for a new page of the children's book for Illustration 5! This time it is a sloth and a snake. The sentence is as follows: "Some animals are very wiggly and others are very still."
